Honest, Reliable and Professional Service
I have used 'Ultra Appliance Repairs' twice in the past 9 months. First time, my washing machine was making strange clanking sounds when spinning and when I spoke to the Engineer, he was able to explain that the issue could be one of three things; the bearings or brushes or something else (which unfortunately, I can't remember). He arrived within 48 hours of my call and was able to confirm that it was the brushes that were worn - which he replaced there and then (had them in stock).
Second visit last month (August) was as that the 'door lock light' was flashing and more often or not the door wouldn't lock so that the cycle wouldn't start. Again, I called and spoke with the Engineer who again, explained that it could be one of a few issues, one of which was the pcb (programming board) another being faulty door lock. He assessed the appliance the next day and diagnosed the door lock was faulty. Although this was not in stock, he ordered the part and fitted the lock within a couple of days.
The Engineer was honest, reliable and professional - he only charges one labour/call out - if you need a part, you pay for that separately and the great thing was that he did not charge a 'Return to Fit' Fee - I would recommend him. So glad I have not had to buy a new machine - something that I - as most people - can't afford to buy at the drop of a hat.
